About the position

As a Territory Sales Manager at Gulf Oil, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the Gulf Oil brand within your designated territory. This role focuses on supporting both prospective and existing customers by identifying their needs and leveraging the company's competitive advantages to provide tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and secure a pipeline of new opportunities through cold calling, face-to-face meetings, and networking.
  • Formulate branding packages for customers, manage contract negotiations, and assist in determining applicable offers.
  • Partner with customers to enhance their marketing strategy by implementing and utilizing marketing, advertising, image, and credit card programs offered by Gulf.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of industry trends and market intelligence; conduct SWOT analysis for the territory.
  • Leverage internal resources by maintaining effective daily communication and timely reporting.
  • Actively listen to customers and champion any issues to resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated outside sales representative experience, preferably in the industry.
  • A 'Hunter' mentality with a proven record of success in driving sales.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and a desire to compete and win consistently.
  • Comfortable with regular travel to meet customers, often exceeding 50%.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Technical proficiency with MS Office Suite.
