About the position

At U.S. LawShield, our mission is to empower individuals to take proactive measures to enhance their safety and self-defense capabilities. Established in 2009, we began as Texas LawShield® and have since expanded our services across the United States, now covering 46 states and serving over 2 million clients in their self-defense journeys. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in representing our brand and fostering relationships with businesses in the firearms and self-defense sectors. This position is designed for early-career professionals who are passionate about our mission and have a proven track record in sales and leadership roles. In this role, you will lead a team of Field Sales Representatives, conducting sales presentations at various events, workshops, and seminars, often during evenings and weekends. Your responsibilities will include identifying potential businesses and events that align with our target customers, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and expanding our product reach through strategic partnerships. You will also be responsible for training and scheduling your team to ensure all sales opportunities are effectively covered within your territory. Additionally, you will leverage technology, such as Salesforce, to track and report on your relationship-building efforts and manage expenses through SAP Concur. This position requires travel within a 2 ½ hour radius of your base of operations to support your team and business partners. You will also have the opportunity to conduct direct-to-consumer sales presentations to aid in your team's growth efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the U.S. LawShield brand professionally and knowledgeably.
  • Build and maintain relationships with businesses in the firearms and self-defense space.
  • Lead a team of Field Sales Representatives in conducting sales presentations at events, workshops, and seminars.
  • Identify businesses and events within your territory that access our ideal customer.
  • Develop relationships with identified stakeholders to expand product reach through events and workshops.
  • Train, develop, and schedule direct reports to cover all sales opportunities within the territory.
  • Assess talent presented by Talent Acquisition to grow your team.
  • Improve existing business partnerships by highlighting the latest programs and benefits.
  • Leverage technology like Salesforce to track and report on relationship building.
  • Travel within the region to support your team and business partners.
  • Support team growth efforts by conducting direct-to-consumer sales presentations as needed.
