About the position

Dymax, part of the Bachmann Chemical & Engineering family of brands, is seeking a results-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as a Territory Sales Manager. Based out of Southern California, you will meet sales targets that grow revenue and develop market share by evaluating account AA, A, and B market and business opportunities, developing leads, acquiring new customers, and by winning and maintaining key accounts and customer commitment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on Dymax Territory Strategy by developing, implementing, and executing a Territory Strategy plan that defines potential applications and market segments to grow sales metrics in the assigned territory.
  • Meet continuous, professional sales-skills objectives through market growth, maintaining robust pipeline development, key account planning and management, and using extraordinary interpersonal selling skills.
  • Achieve Dymax adhesives and equipment revenue objectives by engaging existing and targeted potential customers through direct interpersonal sales and sales partnering.
  • Build business through targeted new potential audiences by planning and coordinating informative events that provide compelling information on Dymax technologies, products, and services.
  • Develop and execute the sales process and build a pipeline by auditing potential account operations, preparing professional proposals and quotes, delivering presentations, and following up to gain trust and commitment.
  • Drive sales and new business from the ground up by cold-calling potential account customers, generating sales leads, and responding to sales inquiries.
  • Capture sales through market expansion and sales penetration by coordinating with global key account teams to capture in-territory accounts.
  • Create product developmental opportunities by identifying needs at key target accounts and liaising with Business Development and R&D to deliver solutions.
  • Exhibit leadership by communicating the voice of the customer inside the Corporation and coordinating resources to achieve territory goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the adhesives or chemical industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in pipeline development and key account management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with light-curable adhesives and curing equipment.
  • Familiarity with market analysis and sales funneling techniques.
  • Previous experience in a territory sales role.
