The Territory Sales Manager will serve as the primary representative for Oldcastle's Barrette Outdoor Living and RDI Railing brands within the designated territory, which includes Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Long Island. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth through the traditional two-step distribution channel. The Territory Sales Manager will collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Director to implement effective sales strategies and processes aimed at expanding business opportunities in the region. In this position, the Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for improving sales performance at retail lumber yards, facilitating product knowledge sessions for store personnel, and ensuring that customer needs are met effectively. The role also involves attending trade shows to promote MoistureShield products, investigating customer claims, and maintaining strong relationships with local stores. The manager will prepare periodic sales reports that detail sales volume, potential sales, and strategies for client base expansion, while also monitoring competitive activities and product offerings. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving pull-through sales to builders, architects, and homeowners, ensuring that the brands are well-represented and that customer satisfaction is prioritized. This position requires a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement, with a focus on building long-term relationships and achieving sales targets.
