About the position

As a Territory Sales Manager at WillScot Mobile Mini, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about sales and eager to unlock their potential in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan aimed at achieving and exceeding sales targets for a range of products, including Containers, Ground Level Offices, Singlewide Modular Structures, and Complex Modular Structures. Your role will involve a mix of outbound prospecting, inbound inquiry conversion, and account development, with approximately 40% of your time dedicated to prospecting new clients and 30% focused on converting incoming inquiries into sales. The remaining time will be spent on customer visits and relationship management. In this role, you will build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers through regular communication and exceptional service. You will need to understand customer needs, provide tailored product recommendations, and address any inquiries or concerns promptly. Utilizing the SalesForce CRM system, you will track your performance and manage customer interactions effectively. Staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities will be crucial for identifying growth opportunities and providing valuable feedback to the management team. Your responsibilities will also include preparing competitive price quotes, negotiating sales agreements, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and delivery. You will maintain detailed records of your sales activities and generate regular reports on your performance and market trends. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution. This position offers a competitive base salary along with an uncapped commission structure, providing you with the opportunity to significantly increase your earnings based on your performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for Containers, Ground Level Offices, and Modular Structures.
  • Spend approximately 40% of time on outbound prospecting and 30% on inbound inquiry conversion.
  • Identify and prioritize potential customers and market segments for business development.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and convert leads into successful sales.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and site visits.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
  • Utilize SalesForce CRM to track performance and manage customer interactions.
  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and provide feedback to management.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive price quotes for potential customers.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and generate reports on sales performance.

Requirements

  • High school degree, GED, or applicable experience.
  • 1 year of outbound prospecting experience or 1 year experience at WSMM.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 10%-20% for field visits with customers.
  • Demonstrated professional communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
