About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Pro-Vac is responsible for driving sales growth within a defined territory in Houston, TX. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer experiences, managing client relationships, and developing strategic growth plans. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive sales experience, particularly in B2B business development, to connect Pro-Vac's environmental services with communities across Texas. The position requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to create value for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Connect Pro-Vac's environmental services to communities in Texas and beyond.
  • Develop a strategic growth plan for the specified geographic territory.
  • Provide estimates to prospects using pre-defined proposals.
  • Follow up on requests that have not closed and complete outbound calling to old customers.
  • Leverage inbound and outbound marketing activities to work with leads.
  • Identify opportunities to create more value for customers through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Increase the quantity and quality of closed deals.
  • Uncover cross-sell and upsell opportunities when handling initial prospect requests.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in a business development role.
  • 3 years of outside sales experience in the hydro-excavation services and infrastructure environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field preferred.
  • Experience in hydrovac, construction, utilities, or environmental services industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of public and private bid processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in CCTV sales.
  • Experience leveraging data to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Existing relationships in excavation services.
