About the position

Come be an Employee-Owner of one of the nation's largest producers of metal roofing and siding! We sell, manufacture, build, and distribute metal building components and packages. Since 1988 we've grown to over 13 locations nationwide. We make raving fans of our customers with our “right, on time, every time” commitment. In this inside sales position, you will be responsible for successfully managing all elements of your assigned territory to meet and exceed territory goals. This includes handling customer orders, credits, and pricing, as well as communicating effectively regarding orders. You will maintain territory volume and manage customer action plans to ensure satisfaction and retention. Your role will involve developing and implementing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed goals for your assigned territory in terms of pounds, sales, gross margin, and RMAs. You will handle all customer requests for quotes, orders, and credits, assisting customers with inquiries about their orders, invoices, and accounts. Additionally, you will manage pricing for all assigned customers, understanding market pricing for distributors, contractors, and end users. You will review customer trends and initiate action plans to address down customers, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and validation of results. Utilizing your independent authority, you will accommodate customer and business needs by adjusting customer pricing, freight charges, product packaging requirements, and special delivery requirements. You will also assist the credit department in contacting customers regarding past due balances. Success in this role will be measured by your organizational and planning skills, RMA accuracy, and your ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in relevant field preferred or equivalent work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel.
