Responsibilities

  • Identify and convert new opportunities, prospects, and accounts.
  • Perform Joint Sales Calls with Distributor Sales Representatives, and/or Strategic Partners when selling Electronic Components products to customers.
  • Conduct product training with distributors and participate in open houses with end-users.
  • Nurture positive relationships with distributor partners and proactively engage to minimize conflict.
  • Participates in the planning process to establish territory goals/objectives.
  • Develop a sales plan to sell electronic components to targeted industries within your assigned territory.
  • Accountable for implementing the tactical actions of the plan, and sales targets within the territory.
  • Plan, schedule, and prioritize tasks within the territory.
  • Maintains working and technical knowledge of all electronic components sold by ASC Global and associated applications, with heavy priority given to applications within your territory.
  • Stay updated on industry information, new product information, competition, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
  • Familiar with ISO certification, quality and production improvements we take to meet customer and other regulatory requirements, enhance customer satisfaction and exceed product quality.
  • Work closely with Regional Manager, ASC Product Managers, Trainers, and Marketing team to support and promote products.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of Industrial Sales experience
  • Demonstrated Track Record of Sales Results
  • B.S. or B.A. in a related field, or technical experience of mechanical and electronic components
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and a diverse set of objectives
  • Goal-driven with minimal supervision and guidance.
