The Business Development Manager at GardaWorld is a pivotal role responsible for driving profitable business growth in security services within a designated geographical area, specifically in Union, New Jersey. The successful candidate will engage with clients and prospects to assess their satisfaction with services and to uncover additional business opportunities that align with sales goals. The role demands a strong understanding of financial reports and the ability to establish credibility with both internal and external stakeholders through honesty, consistency, and dependability. In this role, the Business Development Manager will be tasked with identifying potential clients and developing comprehensive sales strategies from inception to completion. This includes analyzing local and expansion markets to pinpoint sales opportunities, prospective companies, and key decision-makers. The manager will also be responsible for developing pricing strategies, preparing proposals, responding to RFPs, and delivering compelling sales presentations. Collaboration with local management and Regional Vice Presidents is essential to plan, conduct, and follow up on sales opportunities effectively. Additionally, the Business Development Manager will follow up on referrals and self-generated leads to understand buyer influences and timing issues, preparing reports on the status of leads and other necessary documentation. The role also involves planning and organizing activities that enhance the GardaWorld brand in the assigned market, as well as negotiating terms of sales, contract wording, and implementation timelines. This position offers a competitive salary of $90,000 plus unlimited commissions, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with company matching.
