About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at WillScot is responsible for maximizing sales within a designated territory through strategic outbound prospecting and effective conversion of inbound inquiries. This role focuses on achieving sales targets for various modular structures and value-added products while maintaining strong customer relationships and providing tailored solutions to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for Containers, Ground Level Offices, and Modular Structures.
  • Spend approximately 40% of time on outbound prospecting, 30% on inbound inquiry conversion, and the remainder on account development and in-person prospecting.
  • Identify and prioritize potential customers and market segments for business development.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and convert leads into successful sales.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
  • Understand customer needs and provide product recommendations promptly.
  • Utilize SalesForce CRM to track performance and manage customer relationships.
  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and provide feedback to management.
  • Prepare competitive price quotes and negotiate sales agreements.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and generate reports on performance and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project execution.

Requirements

  • High school degree, GED, or applicable experience.
  • 1 year of outbound prospecting experience or 1 year experience at WillScot.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 10%-20% for field visits with customers.
  • Demonstrated professional communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
