About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Option Care Health is responsible for managing sales, marketing, and business development activities within a designated territory. This role involves leading a team to exceed revenue and gross margin objectives, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The manager will engage in account management, develop strategic market plans, and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive sales and enhance customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and execution of sales, marketing, and business development activities.
  • Identify growth opportunities within local practices, hospitals, and health systems.
  • Direct the activities of Account Executives, Care Transition Specialists, and Care Transition Coordinators.
  • Drive sales by partnering with operations to build market growth plans.
  • Engage cross-functionally to ensure alignment of sales efforts with branches and personnel.
  • Develop Account Executives to create and deliver sales presentations.
  • Monitor competitors, industry, and sales trends to develop sales plans accordingly.
  • Provide productivity analysis and feedback to the sales team on performance overall and with key customers.
  • Identify and provide training and development opportunities for the team.
  • Develop business plans to achieve goals of targeted opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a clinical field, or high school diploma with 5 years of related sales experience.
  • 1-2 years of previous business-to-business healthcare/medical related sales leadership experience.
  • Experience in analyzing and reporting sales data to identify issues and trends.
  • Experience using and teaching time management skills.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to customers.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA in Business Administration with at least 4 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience.
  • Prior experience selling strategic solutions to hospitals and health systems.
  • Infusion/health care service experience in therapeutic areas such as oncology or immunology.
  • Basic understanding of billing and reimbursement procedures.
