About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Alside is responsible for developing and maintaining target accounts while driving sales growth and new business within a specific territory. This role is critical to the business and is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction and relationship building, with the added benefit of being home in the evenings. The position requires a strong sales background and the ability to understand customer needs to maximize revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all sales and account planning, forecasting, and reporting for assigned accounts within the territory.
  • Understand, assess, and anticipate customers' objectives to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
  • Acquire new customers to maximize supply center revenue.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow up on escalated issues.
  • Collaborate with supply center and corporate resources to fulfill orders.
  • Mentor other sales representatives.

Requirements

  • Successful sales history with 2+ years of outside sales experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with CRM software is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-directed, highly organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and competitive.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience within the building materials industry is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of core building material products, specifically windows and siding.
