About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for Long Island, NY is responsible for managing and expanding a well-established territory in the medical sales sector, focusing on both account management and new business development. This role involves delivering exceptional service to healthcare providers while driving sales growth and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Responsibilities

  • Execute sales activities within the assigned market segment to achieve budgeted goals.
  • Meet budgeted sales and profit margin by prospecting, qualifying, and generating sales.
  • Ensure effective communication and proper flow of information regarding client requests and billing changes.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by effectively communicating with surgeons and staff.
  • Foster teamwork by collaborating with peers, management, and partners to achieve company goals.
  • Perform technical duties related to surgical laser equipment, including setup and safety guidance.
  • Follow all workplace and laser safety procedures to ensure safe operations.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with employees, customers, and vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of relevant sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in urology, ENT, or GYN sales is a strong plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to engage effectively with healthcare professionals.
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on approach and willingness to get involved in all aspects of the sales process.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a customer-focused, results-driven mindset.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Long Island, NY area.

Nice-to-haves
