About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is responsible for driving sales growth in the Utah region by building and maintaining strong customer relationships. This full-time position involves regular customer engagement, account development, and collaboration with branch staff to enhance product offerings and customer satisfaction. The role requires a proactive approach to sales, technical support, and strategic planning to meet customer needs and expand the company's market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Grow sales by calling on assigned customers to foster strong relationships and regularly check-in on their needs and special requests or promotions ensuring high-level of satisfaction.
  • Continued development of existing accounts to increase sales and expand product lines by consistently communicating solutions and providing technical support.
  • Develop and open new accounts by consistently cold calling to provide new solutions making their jobs easier and offering product support/promos.
  • Coordinate sales activities in Branch to support various product lines by communicating and working with branch staff and key vendors.
  • Analyze customer sales reports or diminishing sales categories and strategize a plan for increasing book of business through better service or diversifying product line.
  • Coordinate with management on product planning, inventory, and new solutions or promos for customers.
  • Attend Industry Relevant Networking events to reach other potential customers.
  • Regularly complete sales assessments, prepare reports, complete weekly sales call logs for VP of Sales.
  • Coordinate with VP of Sales and Team in balancing territory. Assigned accounts must maintain or have potential of minimum $100,000 with maximum of 50 total accounts.
  • Continuous tenacity to always seek a solution for our customers and not give up.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years HVAC experience, counter sales
  • 3 or more years Sales or Sales Management experience
  • Ability to provide and maintain top notch customer service
  • Ability to generate sales/margin growth
  • Ability to multi-task and work to fill orders timely
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time; must be self-starter
  • Team Player with ability to establish strong relationships
  • Strong computer knowledge in all MS Office applications
  • Ability to maintain CRM

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 years CRM software experience (Preferred)
