As a Territory Sales Manager at Midland Garage Door, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and building relationships with customers across a newly established territory that includes parts of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Northern Illinois. This position is designed for individuals who are ready to take their sales career to the next level with a company that has been a leader in the garage door industry for over 40 years. You will be the frontline contact for our valued customers, utilizing a company-provided vehicle to travel to various locations and meet with clients. Your primary responsibility will be to execute sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner, ensuring a favorable impression of both yourself and the company. In this role, you will be responsible for closing and growing sales through effective communication with existing and prospective customers. You will identify opportunities for conversions and take orders, while also creating and implementing a territory plan that aligns with sales goals and company profitability expectations. Your ability to present our products and services effectively will be key, as you will need to overcome barriers to close sales by clearly communicating the features, benefits, and value of our offerings. Additionally, you will manage customer requirements by engaging with them to understand and anticipate their needs, assisting with problem-solving, product selection, and pricing. You will also introduce and demonstrate new products and services, attend customer functions such as trade shows and contractor events, and maintain a professional image and work environment. This position requires a flexible schedule, with overnight travel expected 80% of the time, and when not traveling, you will work from the office located in Eden Prairie, MN.
