About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Fortune Brands Innovations is responsible for achieving financial sales goals by maintaining and growing relationships with distributors, dealers, and construction professionals. This role involves working autonomously, implementing promotions and programs with the support of the inside sales and marketing team, and requires significant travel to meet clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales, margin, and expense budget on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Improve KPIs performance including Fiberon Market Share, Dealer Share, Product Positions, and Builder Share.
  • Acquire and retain key dealers and users.
  • Optimize local distribution to grow market share.
  • Develop an annual business plan with the Regional Manager to exceed territory financial budgets.
  • Conduct professional semi-annual Joint Business Planning Meetings with the Regional Manager and local distributors.
  • Utilize CRM and the company's sales process effectively and consistently.
  • Make effective presentations using various methods to both small and large groups.
  • Gather and report competitive programs, promotions, and tactics to Sales and Marketing management.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

Requirements

  • Valid State issued Drivers' license
  • 4+ years of outside sales experience
  • Must live within the core geography
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Enjoys public speaking and can demonstrate products and company advantages to groups of all sizes.
