About the position

The Territory Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales leadership across a multi-state region for Empire Auto Parts. This position is responsible for maximizing revenue from existing customers and converting prospects into clients by effectively presenting the company's value proposition. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, customer engagement, and collaboration with various departments to ensure alignment with sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy.
  • Create and implement sales plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with local management and executive sales leadership.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Work directly with territory sales representatives to address revenue shortfalls.
  • Train and mentor Territory Sales team members.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and progress reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Lead negotiation processes and close deals in alignment with company policies.
  • Ensure all corporate sales initiatives are supported and executed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license & clean driving record.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment.
  • Proactive mindset with knowledge of automobiles preferred.
  • Sales experience with smaller/startup companies preferred.
  • Excellent team leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Multilingual skills desired.
  • Knowledge of and interest in automobiles, including parts and functionality.
