About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at S & K Sales Co. is responsible for increasing product visibility and sales through effective merchandising, promotions, and communication with store personnel. This role involves maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with planograms (POGs), and creating appealing displays to drive sales growth. The position requires a proactive approach to managing relationships with clients and store staff, as well as the ability to adapt to changing procedures and workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain store shelves by observing displays of company lines and removing damaged products.
  • Restock shelves with product from inventory and prompt store management to reorder when levels are low.
  • Set up displays for special promotions and check daily on their status.
  • Work with stores on implementing new POGs and participate in resets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely pricing and POS signs are displayed.
  • Put up and replenish coupons in a presentable manner.
  • Work with various checklists and reports to ensure compliance and inventory management.
  • Secure secondary locations in stores to promote sales growth.
  • Create appealing merchandise displays and position shippers in high traffic areas.
  • Change displays to promote new product launches and seasonal themes.
  • Act as a liaison between S&K clients and store personnel, responding to communications promptly.

Requirements

  • 2 years of outside sales experience
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and web-based applications
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
