About The Position

The Territory Sales Manager position at General Scientific Corporation presents an exciting opportunity for a driven and motivated salesperson. Many customers are already familiar with SurgiTel's reputation before they even reach out, which significantly aids in the sales process. The sales representatives at SurgiTel boast an impressive closing rate of over 90%, reflecting the quality of the products and the effectiveness of the sales strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting and selling within your designated territory, which includes Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Your primary focus will be on converting leads and capitalizing on sales opportunities to grow the current customer base with new products. Approximately 55% of your time will be dedicated to this prospecting and selling effort. Additionally, you will engage with dental and hygiene schools, as well as residency programs, dedicating around 25% of your time to these important sales channels. Trade shows will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities, accounting for roughly 10% of your time, where you will showcase products and connect with potential customers. The remaining 10% of your time will be spent servicing existing customers in the field, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term relationships. This position requires a significant amount of travel, as you will be driving to various appointments throughout your territory. The role is designed for a full-time commitment, and the compensation structure includes a base salary along with commission opportunities, with expected earnings ranging from $125,000 to over $200,000 based on performance.
