About the position

As a Territory Sales Manager at Daikin, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, maintaining, developing, and growing a volume-driven and profitable base of approximately 50 target and core dealers within your assigned territory. This role requires you to actively target and sign-up dealers, including A Plus Dealers, to expand our market presence. You will build sales through effective communication with existing and potential customers regarding new product launches, services, supplies, prices, programs, and discounts. Your goal will be to maintain and improve sales revenue and gross margin while ensuring that client accounts have all the necessary information to meet and exceed customer service expectations. In this position, you will maintain an accurate call history within the CRM system and collaborate with Branch Managers and their teams to increase sales within the assigned branches. You will also be tasked with developing remedial action plans as needed to meet or exceed customer development and sales targets on a weekly basis. As the channel expert, you will need to be well-versed in the features, benefits, product performance, and design guidelines for the products sold. Periodically, you will reach out to customers to assess their satisfaction with the organization, products, and services, while also monitoring competitive activity and trends within your territory. Additionally, you will be expected to expand your knowledge base of the company's products and features, understand and follow work instructions, operating procedures, and company policies, and perform additional duties as requested. This role is crucial in ensuring that Daikin continues to provide exceptional service and products to our customers, thereby driving sales and growth in the territory.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management or a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with dealers and customers.
  • Experience with CRM systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Knowledge of the HVAC industry and products is a plus.
