About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Pentair is responsible for managing and growing the Pool & Spa business within the St. Petersburg / Clearwater, FL territory. This role involves selling Pentair's products through authorized distributors and professional dealers, while also providing technical training and support. The position emphasizes building strong relationships with channel partners and effectively utilizing marketing programs to promote Pentair's offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow assigned Pentair businesses by identifying and nurturing new and existing key relationships with channel partners.
  • Build relationships with key channel partners and influence sales of Pentair products and services through technical presentations and training seminars.
  • Promote Pentair's products effectively utilizing marketing programs and providing product training to distributors and end-users.
  • Develop a strong technical understanding of products to address customer needs and promote brand awareness among distributor partners.
  • Analyze customer specifications to determine proper product applications and provide expertise on performance problems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 3-5 years of professional sales experience with a proven ability to grow sales.
  • Electro-mechanical skills and ability to train others on pool equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, follow-up, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
