About the position
The Territory Sales Representative for the Mid-Atlantic region at Lighthouse Professional Services is responsible for generating sales activity and creating opportunities for the analytical product line. This remote position requires significant travel within the territory, focusing on prospecting, customer engagement, and conducting product demonstrations to drive sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales activity and create opportunities for the analytical product line within the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Prospect and establish connections with customers, both in-person and virtually.
- Conduct on-site demonstrations of analytical products, specifically the ultraWAVE and DMA80.
- Collaborate with Regional and Marketing Managers to develop targeted activities for specific markets or products.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing sales partners to maximize their benefit to the territory.
- Utilize the current user base to foster brand loyalty and identify additional opportunities for products.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the analytical lab equipment sector or inside sales experience in consumables.
- Proven track record in prospecting and managing a sales funnel.
- Solutions-oriented approach to sales.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets with a history of achieving sales quotas.
- Technical knowledge or aptitude in inorganic and organic chemistry applications is preferred.
- Experience with sample preparation or metals analysis is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer proficiency, familiarity with Microsoft Office required, experience with Salesforce is a plus.
