About the position

As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for educating clients and specifying products related to municipal water tank development and construction. This remote position requires extensive travel across the Upstate New York to Boston market, focusing on new business development and building relationships with engineers and municipalities.

Responsibilities

  • Educate clients on municipal water tank development and construction.
  • Specify products and navigate territory-wide sales efforts.
  • Focus on new business development and client acquisition.
  • Build and manage relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Identify growth opportunities and potential strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Prepare proposals and conduct presentations to engineers and decision-makers.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events.

Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the water industry.
  • Experience with storage-based systems and related products.
  • Familiarity with valves, pumps, metering, or control system sales is an asset.
  • Experience working with high-end engineering firms and delivering technical presentations.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Knowledge of technical aspects of engineering and construction as they relate to sales.
