The Territory Sales Representative at Summit Business Group is an outside sales role focused on building relationships with local businesses to offer supplemental insurance products. Responsibilities

  • Help cultivate new relationships with local businesses.
  • Grow a book of business and care for clients in their time of need.
  • Respond to general emails and phone calls from clients.
  • Set follow-up appointments with prospective and current clients to review their needs.
  • Meet with business owners and decision-makers to offer supplemental insurance products.
  • Conduct product presentations with employee groups of 50-100+ people.
  • Call on new businesses, referrals, and existing clients who need to be re-serviced.
  • Submit sales metrics and activity daily.
  • Develop relationships with local business owners in your territory.
  • Set your own scheduled working hours and submit them to your sales manager each week.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of professional work experience.
  • Life & Health Insurance License (or willingness to obtain).
  • Entry-level experience in sales or outside sales.

  • Experience working with high schoolers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to make friends easily.
  • Ability to provide positive feedback and compliments.
