About the position

The Territory Sales Representative at Summit Business Group is an outside sales role focused on building relationships with local businesses to offer supplemental insurance products. Responsibilities

  • Cultivate new relationships with local businesses and grow a book of business.
  • Care for clients and assist them in their time of need.
  • Respond to general emails and phone calls from clients.
  • Set follow-up appointments with prospective and current clients to review their needs.
  • Meet with business owners and decision-makers to present insurance products.
  • Develop relationships with local business owners in the assigned territory.
  • Submit daily sales metrics and activity reports.
  • Follow up on provided sales leads and cold-call on businesses in person.

Requirements

  • Valid Life & Health Insurance License (or willingness to obtain one with reimbursement offered).
  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of professional work experience.
  • Experience in outside sales is preferred.
