About the position

The Territory Sales Representative at Apollo Retail is responsible for driving sales and business opportunities within the automotive service industry. This role involves extensive travel to meet potential partners, executing the full sales lifecycle from outreach to closing deals. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, possess strong sales and people skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales visits to enroll automotive service centers in the Service Lane for Shops Program within an assigned territory.
  • Execute on all phases of the sales lifecycle: identify and qualify leads, meet with potential partners, develop the value proposition, and close sales.
  • Research and identify sales opportunities by prospecting, calling, emailing, and following up with all sales leads and potential partners; includes in-person sales visits with the ability to close in one call.
  • Develop relationships with prospective companies in automotive service to understand their objections, ensure good service, and effectively deliver the benefits of the program.
  • Daily logging and maintaining of current records on all prospect interactions for scheduling and tracking purposes in our CRM.

Requirements

  • Must be a motivated self-starter with strong sales and people skills.
  • Proven track record for diligence in a remote-based position.
  • Strong people and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactively willing to take initiative to identify and follow through on potential business leads.
  • Ability to project a professional image over the phone and in-person.
  • Ability to conduct successful presentations and apply influence skills to increase third-party interest resulting in partnerships.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, be flexible, and work with a sense of urgency in a changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to problem solve and effectively meet goals and deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively, creating actionable insights.
  • Commitment to customer service principles.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability and willingness to travel within assigned district 4-5 days a week with overnights.
