About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for FLOORSPLUS will be responsible for driving sales and capturing market share within the assigned territory, primarily in New Jersey and potentially New York City. This role involves engaging with customers, generating leads, and maintaining strong relationships to ensure the successful promotion and sale of hard surface flooring products. The position requires a proactive approach to sales, with a focus on understanding customer needs and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of FLOORSPLUS products and services.
  • Generate leads and build rapport with existing and new customers.
  • Guide customers through the entire sales process, including installing display racks and ensuring retail store engagement.
  • Maintain and grow sales within existing accounts, transitioning high-volume accounts to dedicated account managers as needed.
  • Identify potential customers through networking and referrals to increase market share in the assigned territory.
  • Conduct daily visits to existing and new accounts, with a focus on local travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing preferred but not required.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience (territory and/or inside sales) preferred.
  • Must have a HUNTER mentality and excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and proficiency with technology (WeChat, HubSpot, email).
  • Must have a clean driving record and the ability to drive.

Nice-to-haves

  • Cold call outreach experience via phone/email and in person is a plus.
