About the position

Infosys is seeking a Test Analyst with Automation and Mainframe expertise. In this role, you will serve as a validation and quality assurance expert, responsible for reviewing the functionality of existing systems. As a QA Test Analyst, you will engage in various testing activities, including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, IVR, and end-to-end testing. The role requires a solid understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA. Responsibilities

• Act as a validation and quality assurance expert reviewing the functionality of existing systems.
• Write test cases in an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios.
• Collaborate with team members to create innovative, high-quality, and defect-free solutions.
• Engage in functional, regression, smoke, sanity, IVR, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop test strategies, scenarios, and cases based on project requirements.
• Utilize bug tracking tools like JIRA for managing defects and issues.
• Work within a Lean/Agile methodology to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• 2 years of experience in Automation Testing and creating Test Strategy, Test scenarios, and Test cases.
• Hands-on technical knowledge in Tosca, API Automation, Selenium Webdriver, and TestNG.
• Experience with JCL, SQL, DB2, FILE-AID, QMF, SPUFI, Cobol, MVS, VSAM, TSO, ISPF, and CICS.
• Knowledge and experience with the full SDLC lifecycle.
• Experience in functional, regression, smoke, sanity, IVR, and End to End Testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA.
• Experience with Lean/Agile methodologies.
