About the position

Infosys is seeking a Test Analyst with Automation skills to join our team. As a QA Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of existing systems. Responsibilities

  • Act as a validation and quality assurance expert to review the functionality of existing systems.
  • Write test cases in an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios.
  • Collaborate with team members to create innovative, high-quality, and defect-free solutions.
  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and contribute to testing strategies and execution.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, IVR, and end-to-end testing.
  • Utilize bug tracking tools like JIRA to report and manage defects.
  • Work within Lean/Agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of testing outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • 5 years of experience in Automation Testing, including creating Test Strategy, Test scenarios, and Test cases.
  • Hands-on technical knowledge in Tosca, API Automation, Selenium Webdriver, and TestNG.
  • Experience with testing strategies and test execution.
  • Knowledge and experience with the full SDLC lifecycle.
  • Experience in functional, regression, smoke, sanity, IVR, and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Familiarity with Lean/Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in understanding the product and analyzing user stories.
  • Performing data analysis and developing test scenarios.
  • Very good understanding of the Software Test Life Cycle activities through practice in multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of Test Automation tools such as TOSCA and Tapsium.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
  • Ability to work in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
