Test and Balance Technician

About the position

The position involves working as a technician on a team responsible for the successful completion of Test and Balance projects. The role requires collaboration with team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the project.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 3-5 years' experience preferred
• Advanced knowledge of math formulas as it relates to TAB
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot VFD's
• Basic understanding of blueprints
• Understanding of chilled, condenser and hot water systems
• Understanding of variable and constant volume air side applications
• Understanding of Siemens, Trane, Honeywell and TAB reporting software
• Ability to task and plan manpower and projects
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
• Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
• Writes clearly and informatively
• Looks for ways to improve and promote quality
• Exhibits confidence in self and others
• Observes safety and security procedures
• Is consistently at work and on time
