About the position

The Test and Evaluation Engineer at Decision Technologies, Inc. is responsible for providing engineering expertise and technical support for surface ship weapons test and evaluation programs. This role involves participating in all aspects of missile and weapon system testing, including planning, execution, data analysis, and reporting, while collaborating with a diverse team across various facilities and organizations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of Missile and Weapon System test planning, execution, data analysis, and results reporting by providing on-site technical and programmatic assistance to the Developmental Test Lead.
• Interface with a geographically diverse team consisting of the USN Program Office, Navy Laboratories, Weapon System Design Agent, and test ranges.
• Support the validation of test procedures at various facilities, including Navy Laboratories, test ranges, and the Weapon System Design Agent facilities.
• Participate in frequent technical interchange meetings and working groups to resolve issues as required.
• Contribute to customer briefings and presentations.
• Coordinate efforts and liaise between the program office, test range, and participating Navy and contractor organizations supporting T&E activities.

Requirements

• 3+ Years of Test and Evaluation (T&E) related experience related to DoD /Naval Weapons Systems / Missile Systems Engineering
• Knowledge and skills in Test and Evaluation
• Systems Engineering
• Modeling and Simulation
• System Integration & Testing
• Familiarity with DoD / DoN Procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 Process)
• Strong problem solving & critical thinking skills
• Effective communication across multi-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• MS Office and Office 365 (Word, PPT, Excel, Project) proficiency
• MS Teams proficiency
• Experience with SharePoint or other digital visualization and collaboration environments
• Strong organization and communication skills.
