About The Position
LinQuest is seeking a Test and Evaluation Engineer to join our team at our office in Colorado Springs, CO. The Test and Evaluation Engineer will support the development of test schedules, test plans, test objectives, test measures, and evaluation criteria. This role is critical in ensuring that the systems we develop meet the rigorous standards required for military applications. The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading-edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Air Force's Space and Missiles System Center. We support the Air Force's acquisition of state-of-the-art Military Satellite Communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation's warfighters. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems. In this position, you will be responsible for developing the Test and Evaluation (T&E) strategy, including the Test and Evaluation Master Plan, Evaluation Framework, requirement verification, and test plans. You will also be tasked with collecting, reviewing, analyzing, and reporting T&E data, supporting the implementation of a common Test and Evaluation database for the program, and assisting in the development of DoD compliant deficiency reporting and resolution systems. Additionally, you will support T&E reviews, audits, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Deficiency Review Boards (DRBs), Materiel Improvement Process Review Boards (MIPRBs), and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs). This position requires travel to DoD and contractor test sites, which may account for up to 25% of your time each year.
