About the position
The Test and Validation Engineer position at Raytheon involves supporting the production and testing of complex electronic systems related to military radar and communications products. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test procedures for electronic systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve test failures in hardware and test environments.
- Maintain related special test equipment (STE).
- Train technicians on testing procedures and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Nice-to-haves
- Diagnose and isolate technical issues with test equipment and production hardware.
- Understand and interpret product specifications and requirements.
- Familiarity with optical fiber in communication systems.
- Experience with modern Automated Test Systems for electronics.
- Strong skills in analyzing technical data.
- Lab experience with RF network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
- Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
