Test Automation Engineer 4

About the position

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer that will collaborate across Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering and System Engineering teams to bring advanced Satellite Communication products to market. The Test Automation Engineer position is responsible for developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in test automation in support of product integration and verification testing of engineering designs prior to market release.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to develop AI tools in existing test automation frameworks.
• AI code generator to create equipment device drivers.
• Develop and Train AI to intake Specifications, Test Lists to Generate Test Procedures and automated Test Scripts.
• Develop and Train AI to search databases of results to generate Data Analytics, Trend Analysis, Test Reports, Dashboards.
• Develop test automation for satellite communication equipment such as modems, RF equipment, Ethernet networking devices and systems.
• Ability to create test scripts and device drivers in multiple languages such as Python, Selenium, C and Java.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related work experience is required.
• Minimum 10 + years of experience with test automation frameworks, device drivers and test scripting.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in programming; Python, Java, and C/C++.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AI Code Generators.
• TensorFlow - end-to-end open-source machine learning platform for everyone.
• PyTorch - machine learning for applications such as natural language processing.
• Pandas - high-level data structures and analysis.
• spaCy - large-scale information extraction tasks.
• Experience testing satellite or RF communications equipment and systems.
• RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
• Ethernet testing, Traffic Generators, wireshark captures and developing dissector tools.
• Responsible for device drivers and tests scripts across multiple interfaces such as RESTful, HTTP/S, SNMP and SSH.
