About the position

The Test Automation Engineer will focus on embedded systems automation testing, responsible for creating and implementing automated test scripts using Python to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop effective test strategies and maintain the existing test automation framework.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts using Python to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and develop effective test strategies.
• Identify and document defects, facilitating timely resolutions with the development team.
• Maintain and improve the existing test automation framework and processes.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years' experience in embedded systems test automation
• 5 to 7 years experience in Python programming for test automation
• Experience configuring and maintenance of test automation in Jenkins
• Hands on working experience in Linux (e.g. CentOS) is mandatory
• Experience in automation of HDMI using squish automation framework
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
