About the position

The Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing, documenting, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality. This role involves performing various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing, while also identifying and tracking defects. The engineer will automate testing processes using appropriate tools and frameworks, with a current focus on 90% automated and 10% manual testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing
• Identify, record, and track defects
• Analyze testing results and provide suggestions to improve software quality
• Automate testing processes using appropriate tools and frameworks

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field; preferably with GPA of 3.2 or higher
• Proven experience in software testing with a solid understanding of testing methodologies
• Familiarity with test automation tools (Selenium, Pytest)
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Trac, Bugzilla)

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of MULTIPLE programming languages (Javascript, Python, C++)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
