About the position

The Test Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software products through automated testing. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in test automation tools and programming languages to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, contributing directly to project success without the bureaucratic constraints typical of larger enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and other tools.
• Write and execute detailed, comprehensive test plans.
• Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and automated QA processes in agile environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of software development and testing experience.
• Proficiency in Selenium Automation is essential.
• Demonstrable experience in C# programming is required.
• Experience with Python scripting is necessary.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GIT, Visual Studio, and SQL Server is expected.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with additional programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git, is an added advantage.
