About the position

The Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing test automation strategies for software applications, focusing on end-to-end testing scenarios. This role requires expertise in Selenium and a strong understanding of software architecture, particularly in web automation frameworks. The engineer will work closely with development teams to ensure quality through effective test automation practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify end-to-end scenarios and ensure code modularity.
• Select and identify areas/test cases for automation.
• Design and implement test automation strategies.
• Understand software architecture, particularly front-end MVC frameworks.
• Create test scenarios and collect test data.
• Analyze the application under test in terms of object identification.
• Conduct regression and functional testing.
• Implement hybrid framework for automation testing.

Requirements

• Experience in Selenium Automation Testing.
• Proficiency in Selenium, Cloudbees, MongoDB, Java, and Python.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and web automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of API test automation and REST services.
• Experience with Selenium suite of tools (Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, Selenium Grid, Selenium WebDriver).
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Git.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/Java programming concepts, including file handling and OOPs concepts.
• Strong business process and operational knowledge.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the insurance domain.
• Exposure to Python programming.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience using project management tools like TFS, Rally, and Microsoft Project.

Benefits
