About the position

As a Test Automation Engineering Manager at Accenture LLP, you will play a pivotal role in driving quality testing solutions for both Accenture and its clients. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and construct test scripts utilizing established quality processes and methodologies. You will develop comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies that ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This includes defining and tracking essential test metrics such as code coverage, quality, and performance, which are critical for assessing the effectiveness of testing efforts. In this role, you will execute testing efforts by delivering application and component releases, coordinating various types of testing including regression testing, test automation, performance testing, functionality, and usability testing. You will be responsible for determining and meeting time estimates and schedules for testing efforts, as well as defining test plans and entry/exit criteria. Your expertise will be crucial in developing, updating, and maintaining quality testing standards and procedures that align with industry best practices. As a leader within the testing team, you will guide other testers, manage testing process questions and issues, and create detailed test models, including plans, data, and scripts. You will also optimize processes and methods to enhance the quality of work delivered. Your ability to allocate test resources effectively in a multi-test environment will be essential, as will your capacity to act independently in determining methods and procedures for new assignments. Regular consultation with senior management will be necessary to make decisions that impact the team and adhere to the strategic direction set by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality testing solutions by planning and constructing test scripts through use of quality processes and methodologies for Accenture or its clients.
• Develop end-to-end testing strategies.
• Define and track test metrics, including code coverage, quality, and performance.
• Execute testing efforts by delivering application and component releases.
• Coordinate and execute regression testing, test automation, performance testing, functionality, and usability testing.
• Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts.
• Define test plans and entry/exit criteria.
• Develop, update, and maintain quality testing standards and procedures.
• Lead other testers on the testing team and manage testing process questions and/or issues.
• Create test models (plans, data, and scripts), including test data.
• Optimize process and methods to deliver quality work.
• Allocate test resources to application tests in a multi-test environment.
• Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
• Make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management.
• Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.

Requirements

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
• 5 years of experience in testing custom solutions.
• 5 years of experience in providing solutions in planning, constructing, and executing test scripts.
• 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing test plans and test cases.
• 5 years of experience in performing test execution.
• 5 years of experience in performing defect and status reporting.
• 5 years of experience in conducting defect triage meetings with development and business teams.
• 4 years of experience in designing and implementing test automation framework using Selenium.
• 4 years of experience in utilizing DevOps tools, including Jenkins and GIT.
• 4 years of experience in participating in release planning, story grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, and sprint demo.
• 3 years of experience in managing teams and work efforts.
• 3 years of experience in acting independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
