About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the Auto Lending Group as part of Consumer Technology. This role involves leading initiatives within technical domains, ensuring software releases are defect-free, and collaborating with various business units. The position requires a blend of technical and soft skills, including programming in C# or Java, and knowledge of automation frameworks, BDD, and AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• 2+ years of writing automated regression tests using Selenium
• 2+ years of C# or Java experience
• 2+ years of experience in SpecFlow
• 2+ years of Agile experience

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong debugging skills
• Experience with Agile Scrum and Kanban
• Designed and Created Automation framework for web based applications from scratch
• 2+ years of BDD experience with Gherkin
• 2+ years of manual testing experience
• 4+ years of MS SQL server experience
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Understanding of testing terminologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles, tools and processes
