About the position
The Test Engineer II position at TEKsystems involves collaborating closely with the development team to transition towards automation. The role requires strong communication skills and a solid background in both manual and automated testing across various platforms including web, digital, mobile, and desktop applications.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing for web, digital, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Write and execute test scripts using tools such as Playwright and Apache JMeter.
- Participate in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban processes, utilizing tools like Jira.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience in software testing and intermediate coding skills related to automation (current tools are Playwright & Apache JMeter).
- Experience in manual testing of front-end, API, and back-end components delivered in AWS.
- Experience with GitLab, including pipeline and build processes.
- Strong understanding and interpretation of the SDLC and STLC processes (preferably ISTQB certified).
- At least 3+ years of experience in test automation using Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- Experience in mobile testing for native iOS and Android applications (mobile test automation is preferred).
- Experience creating, managing, and executing test artifacts (e.g., test cases, test plans, defects, test reports, test metrics) in Jira with Xray.
- Experience writing test scripts.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
