About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Test Engineer to join our Integration Test Engineering team in Newtown, PA. The primary focus of this role is on system integration and testing, with an emphasis on developing meticulous test cases based on the Technical Requirements Document (TRD). The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to enhance our test processes, support new product development, and sustain existing products. This candidate should have a strong understanding of schematics and proficiency with test equipment are essential to effectively collaborate with the hardware development team and ensure seamless integration of hardware and systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in the System Integration and Test or related field.
• Proficiency in using electrical engineering test equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, current meters, power supplies, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
• Strong understanding of schematics with the ability to analyze and interpret hardware designs.
• Advanced data analysis skills to evaluate test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for creating detailed reports and visualizations.
• Work experience with automation platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred or applicable experience.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read and write embedded code (C++).
• Ability to develop python scripts for data analysis and streamlining test procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers during the Beta phase.
• Previous experience with Test Case management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and develop test cases for system integration in alignment with technical requirements.
• Work both independently and collaboratively within global, cross-functional teams to deliver on project goals.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases based on hardware, firmware, and software requirements, both manual and automated test cases for SI&T and End to End validation.
• Upskill the team in both hardware and system integration validation techniques and best practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance to Beta customers.
• Provide remote and on-site support during the Beta validation phase at customer sites as part of the New Product Development (NPD) process, ensuring successful integration and addressing customer needs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support hardware-focused new product development and sustaining efforts, emphasizing System Integration and Test (SI&T) to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Develop edge case and adversarial test cases to ensure product robustness and reliability under extreme or unexpected conditions.
