About the position

The Test Engineer Level 1 position at Integra Technologies involves planning, designing, and evaluating test development projects in collaboration with both internal and external customers. The primary goal is to ensure that all specifications meet customer expectations and organizational requirements. This role is crucial in the semiconductor industry, where precision and accuracy are paramount. The engineer will be responsible for developing semiconductor component-level test plans that determine methods, procedures, and conditions to ensure comprehensive coverage of device specifications that align with customer application requirements. In addition to developing test plans, the Test Engineer Level 1 will also create Automated Test Equipment (ATE) test program hardware and software to test semiconductor devices according to customer-approved test plans. This includes configuring and programming bench-level lab equipment as needed to meet specific test requirements. The engineer will work closely with the Sales Team to accurately quote device test development engineering hours, test platform hours, and the necessary test hardware to fulfill customer-approved test plans. Collaboration with the Operations Team is also essential to assess engineering feasibility and cost-effectiveness for production-level test programs. The role requires resolving technical problems using device/test debugging techniques and collecting test characterization data to reach engineering conclusions that drive corrective actions. Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned is also a key aspect of this position, ensuring that the engineer can adapt to the dynamic needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop semiconductor component-level test plans that determine methods, procedures, and conditions to ensure coverage of device specifications that meet customer application requirements.
  • Develop Automated Test Equipment (ATE) test program hardware and software to test semiconductor devices per customer approved test plans.
  • Configure and/or program bench level lab equipment as needed to meet test requirements.
  • Work with the Sales Team to accurately cost quote device test development engineering hours, test platform hours, and the test hardware required to meet customer approved test plans.
