Responsibilities

  • Assist the PO in analyzing and translating orthodontic software requirements into design specifications.
  • Lead the definition of test scenarios and test cases. Update and extend the test strategy when needed.
  • Extend and update the medical device product documentation to ensure full test coverage and traceability.
  • Perform integration, functional, system and regression testing.
  • Structure, design and perform automated tests. Identify new opportunities to streamline the test methodology.
  • Collaborate closely across the various departments: R&D, Supply Chain, Training, Customer Care, QA/RA.
  • Troubleshoot with incoming operational issues.
  • Identify, document, track defects till resolved and deployed.
  • Communicate solutions and fixes to other departments/customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or technical education or professional experience in computer science.
  • 3+ years SW quality assurance/testing experience.
  • Experience in the orthodontic domain is advantageous.
  • Experience with working in the highly regulated medical device industry is advantageous.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with test management tools and processes (e.g. Matrix Req. X-Rays).
  • Experience with bug/issues tracking tools (e.g. Jira).
  • Experience in writing software tests, good understanding of software testing concepts (for example: TDD, BDD, testing pyramid).
  • Experience with the Java/Selenium and Postman API automated testing framework or other test frameworks is an advantage.
  • Experience in SQL/database and scripting.
