About the position

Our work depends on a Test Engineer to help support the Navy's airborne Electronic Warfare Integrated Laboratories (EWIL) Division, Electronic Combat Simulation and Evaluation Laboratory (ECSEL) program to work onsite at Point Mugu, CA. As a Test Engineer for the ECSEL program, you will be responsible for helping various airborne EW programs with their testing through the setup of the test environment. In this role, you will design, build, modify, repair, maintain, and test various EW lab test benches. You will perform daily start-up of bench systems to check operational integrity and performance, calibrate and test various systems, components, and applications as required, and support the creation or maintenance of required process/procedure or other acquisition or certification documentation. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance in all testing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, modify, repair, maintain and test various EW lab test benches.
  • Perform daily start-up of bench systems to check operational integrity and performance.
  • Calibrate and test various systems, components, and applications as required.
  • Support creation or maintenance of required process/procedure or other acquisition or certification documentation.

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • 3+ years of experience with electronics design, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • BS Degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Good organizational and management skills.
  • US Citizenship required.
