About the position

The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos is seeking Integration and Test Engineers to join our team in Reston, VA or Alexandria, VA. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful integration and testing of complex network systems. The Test Engineering team will be responsible for developing enterprise-level test requirements, planning, and executing system hardware-software-network integration, verification, validation, and fielding support for network systems. The position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with vendors and internal teams to evaluate systems, align test requirements, and identify effective test methods for verification and validation. In this role, you will interface with vendors to facilitate their integration into a larger system-of-systems model. You will be tasked with identifying test methodologies that efficiently verify and validate systems, conducting design reviews of solutions, and reviewing vendor validation methods. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and tracking risks associated with integration and validation processes, facilitating working groups, and conducting both informal and formal technical interchanges. Your contributions will support program objectives and ensure that testing produces expected results. Collaboration is key, as you will work with software and hardware subject matter experts to develop and maintain system integration plans and system test plans. You will also diagnose problems encountered during application integration and address fixes or enhancements according to prescribed program processes. Documenting lessons learned and maintaining a robust test discipline for the program will be essential. Responsibilities

  • Develop enterprise-level test requirements and planning for network systems.

Requirements

  • Must possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Master's with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of test engineering concepts applied to Department of Defense programs.
  • Experience in automated testing concepts and developing test plans and specifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with customer representatives and domain experts.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning and task execution involving system integration activities.
  • Ability to work well with people from various disciplines with differing technical experience levels.
  • Experience in integration, test, verification, and validation processes.
  • Ability to achieve high customer satisfaction and maintain Leidos' positive brand recognition.
  • Experience with Agile program execution and using agile tools (e.g., Jira and Confluence).
