About the position

The Test Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing functional test procedures, conducting feature, system, and regression testing within an agile development environment. This role involves documentation and maintenance of test plans and environments, as well as providing feedback on test results and defects to the project team and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute functional test procedures.
  • Conduct feature, system, and regression testing per the Sprint schedule.
  • Test within an agile development environment for a feature-based release model.
  • Document and maintain the test plan, test environments, and test event checklists for each test cycle.
  • Provide feedback to the project team, software developers, and Government Program Manager on test results and defects.
  • Conduct research into Government test and evaluation concepts and related engineering activities.
  • Plan and execute performance analysis and data collection.
  • Review planned acquisition approaches to support T&E schedule alignment.
  • Analyze performance risk areas to focus T&E planning.
  • Specify, validate, and adapt modeling and simulation for T&E use.
  • Apply statistical analysis of variations in performance behavior.
  • Select, develop, and use analysis tools for evaluation plans.
  • Assess operational and system performance requirements for testability.
  • Coordinate with program Systems Engineering and review T&E-related information.
  • Design surveys for evaluation of Subject Matter Expert input and user assessments.
  • Produce evaluation plans, analysis plans, and evaluation reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Two years of experience as a Test Engineer in similar programs and contracts.
  • Six years of Test Engineer experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
