About the position

CACI is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Department of Defense (DoD) in implementing an enterprise IT service delivery model. This role focuses on providing consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective IT services to enhance mission success and improve user experience. The Test Engineer will establish an automated testing framework, create and maintain test plans, and conduct various testing types to ensure the quality of IT services and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Execute unit/component test procedures for all project components.
  • Create and execute integration test procedures.
  • Execute regression tests and coordinate user acceptance testing.
  • Conduct component integration testing, including performance and throughput benchmarking.
  • Support production system break/fix and enhancement efforts.
  • Document and analyze test results, producing status reports.
  • Assist with technical artifacts like Requirements Traceability Matrix and Use Cases.
  • Estimate testing efforts for project planning and tracking.
  • Collect and report testing results to stakeholders.
  • Monitor defects and ensure timely progress through the defect tracking process.
  • Run performance benchmarks and conduct performance tuning.
  • Identify potential testing or work product improvements.
  • Provide informal demonstrations to staff and customers.
  • Document and track defects and change requests.

Requirements

  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and/or Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Strong ServiceNow platform knowledge.
  • Experience testing in multiple ITSM modules.
  • Experience setting up test environments and executing test cases.
  • Working experience with component, application, integration, and performance testing procedures.
  • Experience in defining acceptance criteria and coordinating acceptance testing.
  • Experience with creating and executing test plans and documenting results.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL).
  • Experience using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Ability to define and configure test automation using ServiceNow ATF.
  • Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs in ServiceNow.
  • Experience with Angular.JS, JavaScript, SQL, and related technologies.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification or ability to obtain it.
  • Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITIL, CSM, or similar).
