Test Engineer

About the position

Air Squared Manufacturing LLC seeks Test Engineer to work in Thornton, CO. Support the development group primarily by testing prototypes and identifying operational issues for scroll compressor; develop and fabricate scroll compressor test stands specifically designed for evaluating performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the development group by testing prototypes
• Identify operational issues for scroll compressors
• Develop and fabricate scroll compressor test stands for performance evaluation

Requirements

• Master’s in mechanical engineering or related field
• Working knowledge of scroll compressors
• Experience with LabVIEW
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Knowledge of CAN bus
• Experience in vibration analysis & testing
• Familiarity with HALT testing
• Experience with thermal and humidity chambers
• Proficiency in MATLAB
• Knowledge of PLC programming and control systems
• Experience with BLDC Motors and Controllers
• Understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics, mechanics of materials, dynamics & statics, and fluid dynamics
