Responsibilities

• Oversee Design Engineering Test Lab
• Create and execute testing plans for new product / sustaining product.
• Recommend and execute lab upgrades
• Create standard testing procedures, protocols, and standard work for validating Banjo products or supplier components.
• Oversee and perform product tests, compile and analyze results, make recommendations based on test results.
• Assist manufacturing in specifying and implementing in line and end of line product tests
• Responsible for safety, cleanliness, and organization of Engineering Lab.
• Serve as project manager for assigned New Product Development/Sustaining Engineering projects.
• Consults with Engineering team and Manufacturing team on product testing plans, results, and potential product improvements

Requirements

• 4 year degree in a related engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Eng)
• 5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer working with mechanical products preferred
• Experience developing test plans and procedures
• Experience designing, performing, and coordinating validation and verification testing
• Experience managing projects.
